This is a two-part direct drive replacement for the stock hotend cover. I made this because my previous direct drive project required full disassembly to access the heat sink for maintenance. This new version has all the cooling fans fixed to a removable part. Held in place by two screws.
I'll leave the step file for you to download. Use it as a guide to assassembly. Note that there is a hook at the right of the stepper mount; that's to hold all the cables in place.
The Ender 2 Pro also has a ground cable attached to the heatsink. I added a hole at the back, as shown here.
Print settings:
Material: ABS/ASA/PETG or any high temp material (hotend is hot)
Perimeters: 3-4
Infill: 10%-15%
