Spool holder clamps to handle of the X-Max3. Allows use of Qidi drybox or a regular spool. 2x M3 x 50mm fasteners are required for the clamps. These are the same as the fasteners you likely removed from the printer during the installation process.
You will need the following:
- 1 Qidi X-Max3 Spool Holder
- 2 Spool Clamp R2
- 2 M3 x 50mm fasteners
- 1 4mm tube fitting with 1/8" pipe threads (optional)
After you print the spool holder you will need to remove 2 bridges that are circled in the photo. You will not be able to get the Qidi spool support rod installed without doing this.
I printed the spool holder in PLA and the clamps in PETG with 5 walls but i'm sure you could use PLA for everything.
