i printed it in PLA (well… extrudr flax which is, as far as i know, PLA with flax fibres) and 100% infill. layerheight doesn't matter too much i guess since it needs quite a bit of sanding - inside for your finger and outside for the bowstring. the base isn't perfectly flat, so you have to move the model into the bed about 0.15mm.
i did quite well adjusting size by scaling in the slicer. either by just printing it smaller or bigger or by stretching just one dimension. i can say that it takes a 40 pound bow without problems, never had one break on me. be careful though - i found extrudr flax to make quite a tough print. if you're one of very few people who will find a use for this model: have fun!
