I created this model to be able to store my DeWalt multitool on the wall. The tool hangs down from the mount so as to not put too much strain on the battery holder.
This same mount can also be used for the following DeWalt tools:
- DCS355 multitool
- DCM848 dual action polisher
- DCG405 angle grinder
- DCS356 multitool
- DCG406 angle grinder
- DCG426 angle grinder
- DCG412 die grinder
After creating it I realised that the top shelf was a good place to store the triangular sander attachment. Then later, I drilled a couple of holes and glued a magnet on to hold various other tools & bits that I use with the multitool.
Feel free to tweak yours too!
The model has been designed to be printed with the top face (the smaller of the two flat surfaces) onto the print bed. In this orientation, it will print just fine without support.
I used 3 outer layers and 50% infill for strength YYMV.
