Yet another DIN rail adapter meant to be bolted to vslot extrusions, so i can then mount some PSU and electronics in a more organized manner.
It's not mounted yet, I have a few pieces in the making as I'm typing here, so I'll add a couple of pics once it's set in place.
It's a very very tight fit - intended this way - I had to give it half my body weight to push it in the first time - the contact layers to the rail are meant to be partially shaved so to get a lot of friction fit. The part also has a screw slot for who wants to add extra stability, though i doubt it will ever need it.
Mounting holes are meant for M5 bolts.
I printed in PETG - as long as it withstands the temps of the electronics in its immediate proximity..it can be printed in snowfoam :D
Print details:
Layer height - your choice - I do mine in .16 /.2 /.24
5 walls, 35-50% Infill - print for strength
temps, speed - depending on your profile - I do PETG 230-240C, 100-125mm/s
Disclaimer: I can't find the original model link so I added it with the ORIGINAL tag to the files section.
My part is …well…I kept the looks and rebuilt it from scratch.
Original came in STL, I use OnShape and I'm a noob at that, thus I rebuilt it from scratch and slapped some honeycomb in there(looks good).
If anyone knows the original or the author stumbles onto this post - let me know and i'll credit where credit is due :)
