My son recently began piano lessons which meant we now have the piano in the living room on the classic folding X style stand. He uses headphones most of the time but then when he's done they end up on the floor or perched on top of the piano only to fall off later. I set out to make a simple hook that could clip onto the 1.2" (30.5mm" standard stand pipe underneath the piano and then would allow him to easily store his headphones when not in use.
Printing
I printed mine in Polymer PLA and it has a nice firm snap but my child's headphones aren't very heavy either. If you wanted a more firm grip you could extend the height in the Z axis as needed. I've also included the Fusion 360 file and a step file if you want to modify the clip width for a different size headphone band.
