Lack Enclosure Removable Front Brace.   This was made for this enclosure https://www.printables.com/model/3673-mmu2s-enclosure/files

When I built the Lack Enclosure for my MK4, I liked the design, but wanted to increase the streangth of the front upper corners.  A brace was not part of the design, most likely to allow easy access.

I designed a light to medium duty removable brace.  One that will slide in. It can easily be removed when needed.  Pull up on both ends equally.  The various colors in the pictures show the 4 peices.

It attaches at the top, behind the doors.  See the pictures.

The Length with the end brackets is 435mm, the inside dimension of the cabinet where the brackets mount.  This may need to be a milimeter or 2 wider depending on how your build went.  See adjustment notes below.

Material PETG, I used .2mm layer.  4 profile passes.  I used an MK4 to print.

2 x front-brace1.stl  The end brackets.  No supports if the thin bottom end is against the plate.  The holes for screws are 4mm

1 x front-brace2.stl  No support is needed when the 16mm width is on the plate.  It may need the "top" of the slot filed down some to allow easy assembly without supports.

1 x front-brace3.stl  Support needed for the overhanging assembly bar.

Measure the distance in your enclosure.

If you need to extend the length, changing the length of the front-brace2 by 0.5% will lengthen it by about 1.1mm.  1.5%/3.3mm max or will not fit in the bracket slot.

I recommend using a good glue when assembling Front-brace2 and front-brace3 together.

The end brackets can be attaced to the enclosure by glue or short screws or both.  If screws are used, predrill the holes and do not overtighten. The walls in the corner are not thick.  I used super glue and some wood screws.

I created a remix adding the mounts to the top, front corners.  See https://www.printables.com/model/727686-adding-removable-brace-mounts-to-the-lack-enclosur

If using Carbon Fiber filled filament, make a test print of the bracket and one end of the brace.  The size of the bracket slot may need to be adjusted. I found some Carbon Fiber filaments print a little fat on the outer walls.
