Magnetic screw holder (drill / screwdriver).
Simple and fast print with no supports needed.
- 8 minutes model printing time (on Bambu), without supports. PLA works fine.
- Holds the screw in position when using the drill/screwdriver
- Automatically release at the end
- Adds magnetic feature to the screwdriver/screw drill bit
What you need:
- a magnet of 7mm diameter and 1-2mm thickness.
- 2gr. of red filament …. kidding :))
Making process:
- This is designed to be used with a small magnet: 7mm diameter and 1-2mm thickness.
- The diameter of the screwdriver / drill bit is 10mm ( tested by me on 10mm, but should work even if it's not tight; this is supposed to move freely )
- print as in the picture, flat, no supports are needed. No special requirements. I used 0.2 layers, but you can go even 0.1mm if you want as the part is so small and fast to print.
- Use a drop of glue or hot gun silicone to fix the small magnet.
