Simple yet over engineered stand to assist in the loading of thick oils into syringes through small needles. The problem is that the process of loading thicker liquids is slow and requires you to hold the vial and syringe plus the plunger open against the vacuum, for a long period of time… This can take a fair bit of dexterity and patience.
This stand can assist by allowing you to mount the vial, insert the syringe, then pull back the plunger to a lock-out point which will hold continuous pressure. Being upright, you can then watch as the liquid fills and stop it at the appropriate time, all while your hands being free to do other things.
I used a velcro band to secure the vial in place. This can be used with or with the base if you just want to hold onto it too.
