Introducing the fiendishly clever, diabolically designed "Ant-mageddon 3000"! Born from the twisted mind of a genius who watched one too many ant processions.
Picture this: a labyrinth, more tantalizing than an ant disco, leading to a banquet of sweetness so irresistible, it's practically ant nirvana. But, in a plot twist worthy of a mad scientist's cackle, these curves are but a prelude to a series of devious sharp angles – the ant equivalent of running into a glass door!
As the ants cha-cha their way through this maze of madness, they stumble upon the pièce de résistance: bait so delectable it would make an ant queen sing! But oh, the treachery! This bait is a culinary Trojan horse, laced with a potion that would make even Dr. Jekyll wary.
The ants, giddy with sugary delight, scurry back to their lair, unwittingly embarking on a Shakespearean tragedy. They share their bounty with their queen and fellow ant-keteers, only to discover – too late – that their feast is a final feast. The Ant-mageddon 3000 doesn't just trap; it orchestrates a dramatic downfall of epic proportions.
Crafted in the eco-conscious yet deceptively innocent PLA – because even mad scientists care about the planet – this device is your secret weapon in the great ant crusade. Simple to assemble, yet complex in its Machiavellian machinations, it's the perfect blend of science, art, and a touch of madness.
So, arm yourself with the Ant-mageddon 3000, and watch as the ants embark on a journey of doom, dancing their way into oblivion. It's not just a trap; it's an operatic performance in the key of ant major! (Disclaimer: Mad scientist laughter and dramatic background music not included. May cause uncontrollable bouts of evil-genius glee.)
There are multiple versions of increasing complexity.
The trap is ~60mm square. Print it solid to avoid small gaps that could let the bait leak out. Designed with a 0.4mm nozzle and 0.2mm layer heights in mind. Although, if you can do smaller layer height the ants might appreciate it.
USE: Scout the ants routes. Plot your vengeance. Place the trap where it interrupts and blocks the trail the ants are following. Fill with liquid ant bait (7.7% borax and sugar water).
