YouTube Play Button with IKEA Ribba frame

Create your very own YoutUbe play button award with an IKEA Ribba frame, TinkerCAD and 3D printing!

What you need:

• a https://tinkercad.com account
• RIBBA Rahmen, weiß, 10x15 cm - IKEA Deutschland
• PLA for the Background
• White-PLA (or white color to paint it)
• Red PLA

TinkerCAD doesn't allow many font variation but I needed a bold type. That is the reason why the name is 5 Times (always with a slight variation in position) in this design. So you have to change it 5 times. It might make sense to use the lightbulb to hide every instance you already changed and make it re-appear with the lightbulb afterwards.

Export the design. You need two exports:

• only the red play button
• everything else

Now print it. Print the play button in red. You don't need supports.

Print the rest with a filament change. Print the base in a dark color. Check out at which layer the text begins and switch to white.

If you don't know how to print with a filament change - no problem. Print it all in a dark color and paint the text and the inner part of the play button in white afterwards. Acrylic colors are great for doing so.

Last Step: assemble everything
