12/17/2023: Band-Aid/ bandage container V2

This is version 2 (V2) of a container to store bandaids. This specific one holds about 17 bandaids in each slot before it starts to get a bit tight, but you can increase the height of the model to extend that capacity.

The lid is currently held in place with a block that fits into the similarly sized hole (located front left [when looking at the model from the front]) {see video below}, but that method of lid retention will change in a future version (more on the future version later).

Print settings I used for this:

  • Prusament PLA Natural White
  • 20% Cubic infill
  • This model was also printed with supports (these were moderately difficult to remove)
  • All other settings were the defaults in the Prusa Slicer profile for the 0.2mm mk4 Speed

Future version plan (coming soon TM):

V3 - will change the lid mounting so it can stay on when the container is inverted and a divot in the slanting portions to slide your finger underneath the bandaid.

12/3/2023: Band-Aid/ bandage container V1

This is version 1 (V1) of a container to store bandaids. This specific one holds about 17 bandaids in each slot before it starts to get a bit tight, but you can increase the height of the model to extend that capacity.

The lid is currently held in place with a block that fits into the similarly sized hole (located front left [when looking at the model from the front]) {see video below}, but that method of lid retention will change in a future version (more on this and future versions later).

Print settings I used for this:

  • Prusament PLA Galaxy Silver
  • 20% Cubic infill
  • This model was also printed with supports (these were moderately difficult to remove)
  • All other settings were the defaults in the Prusa Slicer profile for the 0.2mm mk4 Speed

Future version plans (coming soon TM):

V2 - will add raised sections to the bottom for easier grabbing of Band-Aids (especially when running low)

V3 - will change the lid mounting so it can stay on when the container is inverted
