The C-5 Galaxy is a massive cargo aircraft used by the USAF for transporting oversized cargo such as Blackhawks, Warthogs, Tanks, etc. The C-5M Super Galaxy is a modernization of the C-5A, B, and C models, adding newer avionics and sensors and replacing its aging TF-39 engines with newer F-138 engines. The C-5M has a total cargo capacity of 281,000 pounds (127,460 kg). Despite all the Galaxy can accomplish, beginning economically practical is not one, costing over $100,000 per flight hour, earning it the nickname FRED (Fricking Ridiculus Economical Disaster).
This model was suggested by Jannik and voted on by club Members.
For best results, print at 0.20mm layer height and %100 infill. Anything else and the kit card may not fit together correctly. Both Sprue and Sprue-less models are included along with the individual parts. This kit card requires no glue.
