My wife fly fishes and needed a container to hold all the short pieces of line that get cut off after tying on a fly. She did not like the types of monofilament trashcans that you can buy, so I made her one.
Note that the cap .stl is at 100% scale. The included .3mf and .gcode have the scaling to 95%, plus support and custom seams. The .gcode also has some custom fan speeds.
I did not notice until I printed them that the original cap has rounded threads and the base has trapezoidal threads. Because of this, the cap rattles a little bit when screwed into the base. But there is plenty of thread so that it should not accidentally unscrew itself, unless you are jogging for miles with it or something. :-)
