A small print to prevent some lampshades from tilting. Our lampshade has a hinge in the inner frame which allows it to act as a ceiling shade as well as a lampshade. It's annoying because the hinge isn't tight so every time the lamp is touched the shade goes wonky.
This splint prevents that. It stays on through friction but I recommend gluing it in place or using cable ties.
