For whatever reason our American Standard kitchen faucet hot/cold indicator (index button) was a red piece of plastic with blue paint for the cold. After a few years the paint wore off and we had a red piece of plastic for indicating hot/cold. This was a very quick print. I printed in blue filament then switched to red filament and printed again. I used super glue to join the two halves together. You may need to test out the fit and scale as necessary, but it fit right away for me. Print with the mating face on the bed.
I printed in PETG with a 0.4mm nozzle.
