To prevent spills falling out of the Skeppshult pepper (casting iron, ceramic and beech tree) mill you may need this coaster to keep dinner table clean. This protection will be keeping attached to the mill when you pick it up. Just remove it and use the peppermill, than put it back into this coaster (protection). I tryed to design it as robust as this mill is.
I used polyamide (nylon) line (thread) of DIA 2mmx35mm, 3 pcs, which need to be inserted in existing holes. They serves as a grip parts to keep the coaster attached to the mill. Polyamide is used because of its durability. Such line is used for grass trimmers. You may try to use print filament instead and fix it with some glue.
