This is FULL sized model of elegant plaid tie made using my 3D printable fabric (cca 40cm long).
You may already know my earlier model (https://www.printables.com/model/559504-plaid-tie), which could be printed on the classic Prusa MK3S+ (and the smaller size even on the Prusa MINI). But these ties might be too short for some.
So I decided to make a longer FULL sized version, which I believe could be the classic tie length. I can't print this tie because I don't have a printer with 300x300mm bed, but I estimate that the length of this tie in the hanging state will be about 40cm.
Note the different pointy “knot” design, where is a hole to tie it around the neck. I used stretchy string about 60cm long. After tying you can hide the string under the collar.
Printing:
There are no special printing requirements, NO supports. Heatbed at least 300 x 300 mm required.
Printig tips:
- Use concentric infill for the top layer.
- Use textured plate. The tie will look nice from the other side as well.
- To make even smaller size use only XY scale in the slicer.
- To make larger size I would use XYZ scaling in the slicer.
