This is a remix of @stout's keypad wall mount. It is intended to fit over a single gang US electrical box opening. The only difference in this remix is that the center opening that you could pass a cord through has been closed off. The adjusted Fusion 360 file is also provided.
The mounting materials are the same as the remix upon which this is based.
Required Materials
- Ring Alarm Keypad
- 3x M3x8 screws
- 3x M3 nuts (5.45mm x 2.4mm)
- 2x #6-32 screws (standard for wall plates) - length varies depending on installation
Suggest Installation
- Insert M3 nuts into holes in the rear of wall plate. You may have to tap them in lightly.
- Screw M3 bolt into each of the 3 middle holes from the front. Tighten just enough so the bolt stays in, but don't tighten fully yet.
- Attach the printed wall plate and M3 hardware to the single gang box using the screws you may have removed from the old wall box. Tighten securely, but do not over tighten.
- Slide the Ring wall plate stand/adapter over the three M3 bolts.
- Tighten the M3 bolts only enough to hold the Ring keypad plate in place.
