Spare plug. Ready to ride.

A spare spark plug belongs in your toolkit — this M14 Spark Plug Box for Vespa gives it a dedicated place. The two-piece printed case encloses the plug for storage and transport, with a screw-top closure and Vespa lettering.

Why print it?

  • Carry a spare: keep a replacement spark plug together with your onboard tools.

  • Enclosed storage: keep the plug separate from loose tools and small parts.

  • Screw-top closure: open the case when you need your spare and close it for transport.

  • Easy print: two printed parts, no supports or additional fasteners.

Fit and assembly

Designed as a storage box for an M14 spark plug for your Vespa. M14 describes the plug thread size; overall plug length and terminal shape can differ. Check the fit with the actual spare plug you intend to carry.

Place the plug in the base as shown in the photos and screw on the outer shell gently. Check that it closes freely without forcing the printed threads.

Print settings

Material

PLA or PETG

Layer height

0.20 mm

Supports

None

These are the original recommended settings. The supplied PLA print file is listed at approximately 3 hours 6 minutes and 23 g for the Prusa MK3/S/S+ setup with a 0.4 mm nozzle. Your own slicing settings may change these values.

Before slicing

The STL contains the box parts together. If your slicer imports them as a single object, split it into separate objects and place each part flat on the build plate. Check the first-layer preview so neither part starts above the plate.

Printed thread fit depends on your printer and material. Start at the original scale and check fit gently. Makers have reported adjusting the body and cap independently; this is an individual tuning option rather than a required setting for every printer.

Files included

  • Zündkerze_Vespa_Final.stl — model file to slice for your printer.

  • Zundkerze_Vespa_Final_0.2mm_PLA_MK3S_3h6m.gcode — prepared PLA print file for the listed Prusa MK3/S/S+ setup.

Share your Make

Show the colour you chose for your Vespa toolkit. If you share the spark plug type and your print settings with your Make, it also helps other riders assess the fit.
