I installed a dog door but the security cover had nowhere to go when not in use.
Whipped up a wall mountable base plate and a two piece spinning latch to hold it in place while being easy to remove with one hand.
Mounting holes were designed around a screw less than 5mm in diameter with a head between 6 and 10mm in diameter.
The specific dog door I made this for is the Ideal Pet Products Ruff Weather - Super Large version.
I recommend printing the base piece with its face down and the two piece latch with the rear facing down. You will need supports for the latch.
