For those using the outboard Ruida controller on the Omtech Polar laser, and who have printed the case for it, this shelf will allow the controller to hang off the side for a better viewing angle.
The shelf is two files - the base and the raised rim which I attached with superglue gel. You can drill and use screws if you prefer. The rim will keep the controller in place and prevent it from falling off. I attached the shelf to the laser with two strips of 3M double sided tape.
I also put peel-n-stick rubber feet on the case which provides a better grip.
