Unfolding card holder for Catan cards (US edition: 54mm x 80mm). It fits into the box organizer I designed a while back.

For the assembly, use filament as the axis to the hinges. Start with the bottom part, then the top one.
I proceeded the following way:
- Insert filament through the hole, with the arm properly positioned
- Melt the end of the filament with a lighter
- Flatten it using a small spatula or any other flat piece of metal
- With that end in place, cut the filament on the otherside so only about 1-2mm is sticking out
- Repeat steps 2 & 3 with that end.
- Repeat the above steps for all of the axis
I printed everything without support.
I hesitated printing the guard part on its side so that the ‘pins’ would be stronger, but the print would have lasted twice as long, and so far they've held well.
Note that if I were to print this again, I'd probably print it in black, so there's less of a risk to get some burn marks on the finished product.
