Modified goggle clip for Spy Sender helmet (the ones at Costco). I made this because the factory clip doesn't fit over the buckle on Smith goggles. It would serve just as well as a replacement for a lost or broken clip.
Print at 100% infill with supports in the default orientation. The supports use very little material and come off easily. I used PETG filament. Layer height doesn't matter. Prints in about 1.5 hours.
The original clip has some glue on it above the screw--this needs to be replaced to avoid stressing the screw. I used gray RTV silicone and that seemed to work OK (probably any silicone is fine). This clip is a lot more rigid than the original and I don't recommend pulling it back to far. I've been holding the base with my thumbs while I slip the goggle strap in from the top. Maybe it should be a little thinner. STEP model included if you want/need to remix.
