I like the idea of printing these things flat and fold the net cup with a locking mechanism for my hydroponic system. I can fit 8 cups on one print plate and it uses 0.8g of filament per cup.
The bottom uses a simple “hook” which fits on the other side. There is a small mark line which shows where to bend the "hook". The idea is just to prevent the rock wool from falling out.
I use biodegradable material (ALLPHA from Colorfabb). But I only just started and do not know if it really works.
