This model is designed to be printed in parts and screw together to make the whole assembly. The screw is split in half lengtwise. The weak point caused by the layer orientation is avoided this way and we gain the maximum strength possible from a 3D print. You can glue the screw (and the other parts) with CA glue, but this is optional as it will stay together regardless.
The threads are ½" and 1" ACME. I chose these as the more square threads improve printability and should be easier to screw together. Nevertheless I added an 0.1mm offset to all threads and my prints screwed together very easily.
The VESA part includes slots for M4 nuts to sit in.
