This is a top to make a budget Christmas/Holiday light tree for the Yard for under $10. it uses standard broom handles for the legs (got mine at dollar tree for $1.25/ea USD) and this attachment by , cichonj
Extension Pole with threads for GoPro mount - for giant selfie pole
You will need 1 of those attachments for each leg. Mine screwed right on right off the printer. You can use any extension pole, handle or any other threaded handle for taller or shorter tree. You'll need at least 3 legs for each ring. I added 6 mounting locations to use up to 6 legs if you'd like to wrap it with tinsel or garland with the lights or as a stand alone instead.
I used tent takes that I picked up at walmart for $1/ea USD to stake through the top of the broom handles hanging hook and secure it to the ground.
I used wire to attach legs to the ring because I bought the wrong size screws and nuts. #6 x 30mm should work but is un tested.
The center is sized to hopefully slip over a 2" schedule40 pvc pipe for a single center mount flag pole style instead. "untested"
Total cost for the skeleton with 3 legs should be under $10 USD, then what ever lights or garland you add. I suspect its going to require 2-3 of the 100 bulb strings, or one of the 300 bulb strings.
Ill Update as this project continues.
Please share makes, I can't wait to see you trees!
