Fabric Weight with Decorative Top

This functional design features a screw-together base and lid, making it easy to print and assemble.

Simple Printing:

• Designed to be easily printable with a standard 0.4mm nozzle and 0.12mm layer height.
• Each part should be printed face down
• No supports necessary
• No need to pause printing half way

Functional Design:

• Base holds two M12 square washers (38mm x 38mm x 3mm) - easily found at hardware stores.
• Lid features a cavity for a small neodymium magnet (9.5mm diameter x 1.5mm thick), used to hold sewing pins for easy access while you arrange your fabric.
• Integrated slot allows for tightening the two halves together using one of the washers (or a screwdriver).

Customizable Style:

• I've created a variety of decorative designs for the lid including: flower, mosaic, star, spirograph, and mandala.
• The designs are a shape 0.2mm thick embedded into the lid and are intended to be printed with a different filament.
• A single 3MF file with the filament settings I used is included.
• A plain lid is also included - decorate it yourself with paint, markers, or remix to add your own design!

Additional Details:

• Approximate weight when assembled: 75g
• STL and STEP files are included, use whatever you prefer
• Washers and magnet are readily available at most hardware stores. These are the ones I used:
  • Macsim 38 x 38 x 3mm M12 Galvanised Square Washer (AUD $0.50 each)
  • Everhang North And South Adhesive Rare Earth Magnet (AUD $0.86 per magnet)
