This CPAP hose clip is designed to hook onto any L-shaped metal extrusion bed frame. Rather than clipping the hose above your head to a wall/headboard (where it hangs across your face at night), this moves the clip to the side of your mattress where the hose can rest across your chest below your face. Ribbing within the clip prevents gravity from pulling at it as you sleep, keeping the mask attached nicely to your face. Features triangular risers for strength and a coupler you can use to extend the clip to your desired height.

Print Settings

The assembly in the pictures was printed at the following settings:

  • Printer: Prusa MK3.5
  • Print Settings
    • 0.4mm nozzle
    • 0.20mm layer height
    • 25% gyroid infill + 3 perimeters for the triangle risers
    • 15% infill + 2 perimeters for the caps & coupler
  • Filament: Generic orange and transparent PETG
  • Supports: none
  • Brim: none

Print Instructions

  1. No supports are required
    1. Print the bottom endcap on it's side with the hex nut hole facing upwards
    2. Print the top endcap + coupler on their backs
  2. Print the triangular riser at an angle across your bed - fits any Prusa MK3-sized bed

Assembly Instructions

  1. To assemble this clip, you will need at minimum:
    1. 4x M3-20 socket cap hex screws
    2. 4x M3 hex nuts
    3. (Add 2x M3-20 screws and 2x M3 hex nuts for every coupler you print)
  2. Assembly should be pretty straight-forward. The final result should be a tiny bit wiggly as you don't want it snapping off the first time you bend it too hard at night.
  3. You will need to lift up your box spring and slip the retaining foot under it. The weight of the bed keeps the clip stand in-place.
  4. Enjoy not having gravity pull your hose & mask off while sleeping!
