My aeropress didn't quite fit some recently purchased 20 oz. mugs, so I made an adapter.
I printed it in PETG with all (99) walls. I haven't stress-tested it yet.
NOTE: The .3MF file is for OrcaSlicer because I used scarf joints. If you don’t use OS, import the .3MF into your fave slicer and use regular seams.
As the walls are circular, they're directly in the path of the downward force, and I'm wondering if that force will sheer the joints over time. I'll use it for a while to see, but wondering if an infill – which would cut across the downward force – is a better choice.
If you have access to a load tester, try both ways and let me know! =D
P.S. - Yes, I know there's no filter in my aeropress. Just illustrating that the aeropress fits in the adapter with the cap on.
