Soap Dish with a story!

Soap Dish for a BIG bar of Soap!

Soap is awesome! Scrubs the dirt right the heck off of you! You use a wash rag? Better yet! For most, life in the depths of the Megalopolis is a squalid, dirty affair, hence the need for… you guessed it, soap!

When not fighting aliens, heretics, mutants, and invaders, a man (or woman) needs a good scrub with a proper bar of soap! None of that namby pamby liquid body wash, cheap off planet sonic scrubbers for the masses, or just plain staying drunk and dirty! A big bar of soap and some hot, unradiated water (with a wash rag) will do the trick! No longer will you look like you just crawled out of a cesspool, stinking of filth, and behaving like you just escaped from a vile cage somewhere in the undercroft.

If you've got a big bar of soap, you're going to have to put it someplace. Preferably where, it will dry and not turn into a nasty pudding of galosh. So you go back to your bug infested one room squalid tenement, steal some power from your used to be friend & neighbor (soon to be an enemy when he gets the power bill), and print yourself out something nice!

A Soap Dish!

It's a lot easier raining heck on the aliens, heretics, mutants, and invaders with some clean skin for a change. Perhaps even that foul nickname you hate so much will slowly drift away into oblivion.

(Shakes his head) Let's be realistic, you know mistakes like that will never go away.

You can't have everything in this small part of the Megalopolis. You do your job every day, cleaning the mutant rat-infested sewers so that the upper stack denizens can live their sweet, filtered lives without smell or peril. You sleep for six short hours each night, then eat the one tasteless meal you get issued, thinking about a girl you once knew: sold away long ago. Your little furry three-legged dog with one bad eye died because you couldn't afford to feed him.

Admit it: Life in the Megalopolis is miserable.

But you have this one thing. A Soap Dish and a Big Bar of Soap!

Now, get out there, trooper, and conquer the world!

• List of things to do:
• Get a big ship with big weapons and crew (not in that order).
• Get lots of ordinance.
• Print out a Soap Dish (with a bottom or bottomless style).
• Stay clean while conquering the world.

No assembly is required.

• Clean your build surface with dishwashing soap! Avoid lifting and warped prints!
• Supports for “Support Enforcers” works well on the drain hole. But you could print the Soap Dish without them. Don't be a heretic; use them.
• Rinse and repeat!

Shelter yourself!

Deliver your cargo!

Get back in the fight!

My name is Robert Day, and I write novels. Science Fiction, Noir, and more.

I’m a freak for building electronics, 3d printing (love Prusa printers), designing awesome 3D models based on my novels; then giving them away. Linux and open source freak with a cigar in my hand and a glass of tequila in the evening. Sometimes armchair philosopher, full time coffee and cigar aficionado, I enjoy a sweet life with my beloved wife Manya in Texas.
