This project was a request by a friend, who needed a macro sled. The print and build is pretty straight-forward. All you need:
- 3d printed parts
- 8mm threaded rod (cut to length)
- Nema 17 + coupler
- Arduino Nano
- Stepper motor driver e.g. A4988
- 12V Power Supply
- custom PCB (available at my website)
modified remote shutter or bluetooth module I've refined the conroller board of my open source 3D Scanner to work with this makro sled and in the future I want to combine the Makro sled with my 3D Scanning apparatus:
