This a mount for a ESP32-CAM AI-thinker board with OV2640 camera module that is used in johnyHV's PrusaConnect camera project found here:

https://github.com/johnyHV/PrusaConnect_ESP32-CAM

This mount is designed to attach to a right angle exterior corner, such as a Lack Table leg. This model can be used in two ways, as shown in the pictures. The angle adaptor is included to allow flexibility, and it can be added or removed without modification. The holes on the angle adaptor are sized so that a nut is not needed to lock the angle in place, but enough use over time might require a nut. The slip fit is designed as zero clearance fit, but with chamfered corners, and this allowed enough friction to feel stable. The housing back part has recesses designed to accept Velcro command strips so that the mount can be affixed and removed from the corner without bolts or screws. The camera hole is sized for the OV2640 Camera 160° Wide-Angle Lens (9mm x 9mm), but is untested at the moment (am awaiting on shipping).

Needed Parts:

M3-10 or longer if using angle adaptor 1&2

Velcro Command Strips

ESP32-CAM AI-thinker board with OV2640

OV2640 Camera 160° Wide-Angle Lens if desired to upgrade camera (will test and update in a few days)

Recommend Print Setup:

Filament: PETG, but other filaments should be fine

Housing: Place the oval hole on the print plate and enable organic supports

Housing Back: Print with either triangle surface on the build plate. Organic supports were used in my print

Angle Adaptor 1: Print with large flat surface on build plate. I used sung supports everywhere, but this might not be necessary

Angle Adaptor 2: Print in a manner that supports are only needed on the extrusion with a bolt hole. Sung Supports everywhere were used.

I print in the Lack MMU2 enclosure, normally preheated. This print should not have any issues outside of an enclosure, but I note this nevertheless.

Notes:

This design assumes that the module will be powered by a micro-USB cable though the programming chip. In the future, I plan on making a more flush design that does not use the programming chip.

I added a short regular command strip to the back of the programming module to take up some play in the case of one of my modules. When I replace the camera, I will add a picture if I do not forget.
