Came across a member of my local community looking for a solution to the solar lamp they bought not having an appropriate base for their application. The original sheet metal bracket that came with it looked like it was meant to clamp on to a 2x4, but they wanted to flat mount it on a 6x6 wooden post to illuminate a flag. I was lucky enough to spot them reaching out to the local community specifically for a 3D printer to find a solution for them.

The lamp and solar panel need to be removed from the original bracket for a clean install, and the wire between them runs through the bracket, so some solder work is recommended. I included a wire channel that will accommodate butt connectors, but I'd advise against that. Remove the back from the solar panel assembly, unscrew the power supply PCB, and desolder L+ and L- (don't forget to mark them, since it's black parallel bonded wire), and pull the wire back through the flex arm to separate the lamp, bracket, and solar panel. Check the wiring while you're in there; I found a wire pinched from the factory and replaced it with 16ga silicone wire. Removing the 18500 batteries makes wire routing a bit more manageable. An 11mm glue stick was used  as weatherproofing plugs on the back of the flat mount plate by cutting off a short ~15mm length, pushing it into the wire holes, and smoothing it flat with a warm soldering iron.

Printed using 95A TPU since it's shown great weather resistance locally, but ABS/ASA, or any other UV resistant filament should work.
