This is an adapter for use with the PolyMaker Polydryer, that allows the use of 4mm OD PTFE straight from the dryer. Air tight seal, constrained filament path.
Requires a 4mm ECAS Fitting. The black rubber donut needs to be removed from the bottom of the fitting.
Due to the tight fit of the ECAS it is not recommended to use brittle, cf or gf infused filament. Also please use a flow calibrated filament. There is some clearance in the design, but it is meant to be a tight fit.
ABS/ASA or PETG should be fine (PETG not tested).
Recommended print orientation is ECAS port up, use brim on bottom if adhesion is a problem for you. You could print it in the opposite orientation, but supports may need to be used.
