I was a little annoyed, because it is really hard to get the inserts out of the HSW. So i designed these inserts. You can still use them as usual but there is also a thread so you can screw in different parts.
I also added just the screw so you can attach it directly to your part.
Printing:
If you need you parts to be perfectly level, you should print screw_insert_for_nut.stl and Nut_M14.stl. If the orientation is not that important just print screw_insert_without_nut.stl
Also depending on your adhesion you should print the screws in a specific orientation:
- if you have good adhesion you can print the screws with the tip facing the plate. That way you dont need support.
- If you have bad adhesion you should print the screws with the tip facing up. You need supports if you print it this way.
Settings:
- 0,16mm layer height
- 3 walls
- 20% infill
- no supports (besides the screws)
