I've designed this adapter specifically for my bicycle (Cube Nuroad EX) and water bottle cages (Elite Prism). I've included a technical drawing as PDF file, where you can check the dimensions to see if it would also fit your bike. (The diameter of the seat tube of my bike is 32mm.)
If it doesn't: I've also included the FreeCAD source file as well as a STEP file.
Hardware needed:
- Two M5 x your desired length to mount the relocator to the frame (you probably already have these).
- Two M5x10 bolts
- Two M5 square nuts
- Two cable ties with a thickness of ≤ 1.5mm and a width of ≤ 4.5mm
The mounting holes have a 0.2mm bridge integrated, so that the part doesn't need supports. You just need to clean the mounting holes with an exacto knive, drill bit or - as I usually do it - with an awl.
A word of caution: While it feels very solid, I have not yet tested this adapter in rough terrain. You've been warned. ;)
