I had a couple of superworms escape into our terrarium and they're breeding. I now have darkling beetles. I don't want them!
I put fish food flakes into this trap and the darklings LOVE it. Some assembly is required – I use a brass rod for the hinge for the trap door.
The rod hole is 2mm, and I use it with a brass rod that measures 1.5mm. These are thin rods you can get at a hardware store in the U.S. You'll want a tight fit. Make sure you don't install the trap door upside down and that it actually opens.
