See https://github.com/michael-dark/Open-Source-Thermometer for more info. This is the alpha version of an internet-connected thermometer, designed to monitor fridges, freezers, incubators, etc. to ensure proper temperature. It logs temperatures to an SD card, which is also where it loads its config file from. It can also send info to an InfluxDB database if connected to the internet.

This supports up to 4 thermocouples (currently set for K-type), as well as monitoring room temperature and humidity. All hardware is from Adafruit and does not require soldering. It also supports a battery to maintain monitoring during power outages. (This seems to draw about one watt maximum while running.)

Hardware required, etc. is all listed at the GitHub repository. The ZIP file contains the source code for the firmware, a compiled version that can be copied to the Metro S3 without needing the Arduino IDE, and a sample config file.

STEP files are included for modification.

I have tested this with several -80C ultralow freezers, as well as standard fridges, freezers, etc. Its performance is very similar to our commercial thermometers. (Bland-Altman analysis coming soon)
