The original plastic feet of my tripod camping stool quickly tore and caused it to sink into the ground quickly. These replacement feet have larger rounded bottoms to prevent sinking and more equally distribute forces. I used a shallow taper upwards to prevent the feet getting stuck if they do sink.
The printed feet are for a stool with 19mm outer diameter legs and are kept in place through friction (if the fit is not snug add superglue to keep them in place).
Recommended print settings:
- High infill percentage (50%)
- Random seam alignment to prevent weak spots
- Sufficiently high temperature (220C for PLA)
