Perhaps a decepticon foot-soldier for army building, or maybe a mighty warrior, whatever the case may be, he's an imposing robot that transforms into a chunky tank.

He prints with no support material or rafts, and is ready to go with no clean-up right off of the build plate.

Notes:

The Decepticon Tank will need to be oriented to print on his back. He should be scaled correctly. Do not print with support material or rafts unless you love pain. He prints in one piece all ready to transform and roll out!

Likewise, the turret prints right-side-up and should already be scaled correctly. It can be printed together with the body to save time.

How I Designed This

I decided to finish up a design I abandoned 3 years ago. It has some inherent design flaws in terms of the proportions of it's limbs, but in terms of a salvage effort I'd consider it successful. I had originally intended it to be a design for Megatron, but now it is just a decepticon soldier that transforms into a tank.

His head is styled after Brawl form the Michael Bay movies, his torso and arms share some characteristics with the decepticon Overlord, and he also shares some qualities of the decepticon Tankor. Basically, he can be whatever you want him to be. Call him a vehicon drone and army build, or give him his own name and identity.

Overall, he's not my favorite transformer I've done, but he's still pretty cool, and I no longer have any unfinished designs lurking like skeletons in my hard drive's closet. Don't worry, now that he's done, I've got some cooler stuff to work on and some bigger fish to fry!
