What is the Whisktributor?
The Whisktributor is a distribution tool meant to bridge the gap between auto and manual WDT tools by being a manual WDT that doesn't require skilled finicky movements that require high dexterity and focus to use and is also incredibly quick to use on bar just like an auto WDT tool... and unlike auto WDT's it doesnt require adjusting when situations (dosing and volume, basket sizes, etc) changes, just pick it up and swirl it like a matcha comb...
How do i assemble one?
It's just as easy as printing the parts for your basket size, loading 3D printing needles into the holes from the top and then screwing the lid on with M3 screws (8 to 15mm lengths will work)
The 58mm version will use 25mm versions
How do i use one?
Place the whisktributor into the basket with the needles touching the bottom of the puck, then gradually lift it while quickly oscillating/wobbling it back and forth in small circular motions just like a matcha comb like in the video
You will be left with a perfectly smooth and fluffy even puck in just a few mere seconds
How does it work?
The needles are spaced evenly apart with a few millimetres between the needles on the outer perimeter and the basket walls
When a small back and forth circular scratching motion is applied, it evenly fluffs the coffee along the horizontal plane as there are enough needles to cover the entire horizontal area of the basket and the fluffing effect is evenly distributed in magnitude across the entire horizontal area of the coffee grounds (isodynamic)
So when you do that while lifting up gradually, it provides that fluffing effect all throughout the entire depth of the puck from top to bottom
