Improved version of my first case remix for this SBC. Enables you to put a dust filter fabric inside the case between the shell and the fan. Also added a heat insert variant.
Given the low height only low profile heatsinks (≤ 7mm) do work! If you need a case with support for bigger heatsinks please take a look at the linked one above.
You'll need the following parts for the heat insert variant:
- 4x M3 heat inserts (M3*4*5)
- 4x M3 screws, 25mm
- 4x M3 screws, 16mm (fan)
- 40x40x10mm 5V fan
- Dust filter fabric
For the hex nut case:
- 4x M3 Hex nuts
- 4x M3 screws, 35mm
- 4x M3 screws, 16mm (fan)
- 40x40x10mm 5V fan
- Dust filter fabric
Recommended settings:
- Material: PETG or ABS/ASA
- Wall thickness: 2mm (5 Perimeters)
- Top/Bottom thickness: 2mm
- Infill: None
- Support: Only for bottom.stl
- Adhesion: Skirt
Place the dust filter fabric between the inner case and the dust filter part, poke holes where the screws go and screw the fan in. It's a good idea to have the fabric slightly bigger than dustfilter.stl, that way it gets stretched out when screwing it down.
