Train drawbridge, compatible with Ikea Brio and Lillabo sets.
Additional materials:
- a 2mm thick metal rod to be used as an axle on which the gears are placed. Can be found in hardware stores. Similar sizes may also work, the important part is that the gears don't slip on the rod. Use superglue if necessary.
- an assortment of M3 machine screws (the holes are slightly smaller to allow tapping)
Print instructions:
I printed using PETG. Kids can be rough with toys, I recommend setting a higher perimeter count and higher infill. Only the gear with the handle needs base plate supports.
The “Tracks_Left” and “Tracks_Mid” parts are grouped together, the hinge is meant to be printed in place.
