Created this model because filament tips would occasionally get stuck on the threads built into the top of the Nextruder heatsink. I think this occurs when the Festo tube between the MMU3 and the Nextruder is in certain orientations, affecting the entry angle into the Nextruder. Either way this caused failed loads and filament grinding in the MMU3 for me. This part enables the Festo tube to be pushed into the Nextruder heatsink, bypassing the threads.

I recommend printing the part in PETG. The Nextruder can get hot during printing, which might cause a part printed in PLA to warp eventually. After printing, thread a PC4M10 passthrough Festo connector into the printed part. Next, superglue the printed part onto the top of the Nextruder. Don't use too much glue, that way the part can be removed later if needed. After gluing, there should still be a gap between the bottom of the printed part and the sliding idler tension assembly on top of the Nextruder to eliminate additional friction. Then feed the Festo tube through the connector and into the Nextruder, but only just past the threads. Don't feed the tube too far into the Nextruder!

Print Settings:

Orient the part so the threads are facing upward

Generic PETG - 0.15mm layer height - supports build-plate only
