I decided to try making a miniature turbofan after creating my original jet engine-like duct. The turbofan has a bearing and can freely rotate. The turbofan rotates along with the hotend fan due to drag from the hotend fan. I initially planned to modify turbofans from others, but I found that they had too many unnecessary features for the miniature scale. As a result, I created a simple geometry for the turbofan by referring to jet engine images, such as an RR Trent. This project is for fun, and I hope some of you will find it interesting.
For this project, I had to purchase a bearing from Amazon. Unfortunately, the pre-lubrication was grease, which caused some friction when spinning. To resolve this, I removed the sealing and grease using a solvent, and then I lubricated it with dry bike lubricant.

You may need some adjustments and tuning. The bearing degreasing for minimum friction and the fan alignment were the keys for me to rotate nicely.
