I could not find a good wall bracket so I created my own, perhaps a little overkill but it works well.
The bracket is slightly angled (12 degree approximately), after installing it you can change the orientation of the speaker with ease. You can also use the speaker bracket without the wall bracket to mount it flat to a wall. (With 2 screws recommended).
Files included:
- Bracket (thick) - Thicker bracket if you like extra security.
- Bracket (thin) - Thinner bracket, bends a little more, so you need to be more careful with it.
- Wall bracket - For mounting the speaker bracket on it.
Each of the speaker brackets contains 4 small holding parts that you screw in instead of the original bracket (after the speaker bracket is in place).
- You will need 12 extra screws for this. (2x2 for holes and 4x2 for the bracket. Flat head screws are recommended but not mandatory.)
I tried to create clips for the bracket to avoid screws but it did not work, feel free to design your own if you want, I have attached drawing with measurements.
Printing
I have printed it with 25% infill. Top/bottom/side 3 layers thick. 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2 height.
I used support for the speaker bracket, for the 4 squares where the holding parts go.
Instruction.
- Remove 8 screws at the back and volume knob/bolt (for control speaker only)
- Unscrew 4 screws holding the original bracket.
- Gently pull out the bracket.
- Put the speaker bracket on and screw in the 4 small holding parts to secure the bracket. (use the 4 screws from step 2).
- Close the case and screw 6/8 screws. (The bracket is covering 2 screws, but they are not really needed anyway.
- Gently screw in 4 screws to each wall bracket, until they just stick out few mm.
- Use the wall bracket to mark/screw the holes.
- Mount the wall bracket.
- Put the speaker in any orientation you want and enjoy.
