This is a holder I designed for an inexpensive kill switch to conceal the cable lugs inside of my car.
I relocated the battery in my Nissan S13 to the trunk, upgraded to 0-Gauge battery cable, and installed an inline battery kill switch inside the cabin for added security and as a way to easily disconnect the battery for storing or repair.
Parts Needed
- 2x M6x1.00 Riv-nuts - to act as nut to hold halves together (Heated and pressed into part)
- 2x M6x1.00 Bolts - to bolt kill switch and box together
- 1x Battery Disconnect Switch - Bought from Amazon (Gogonfly Brand)
- ~100g PLA or PETG - I printed in PLA for engineering purposes, a final model will be made in a plastic with better heat resistance
This model is my first working concept of this and it works well. I will be redesigning to better fit the floor pan of my car and then uploading that model as well.
