I made this model as an easy way to get consistent spacing from the house when putting up permanent LED lights, like those from Govee and Eufy.
Fold the LED Spacer back and forth at the distance you want the LEDS from the house until it breaks. Use it as a guide to ensure consistent LED placement.
If you know the distance you want to place your lights, you can also use the Cut feature of most slicers to adjust the model to the right size from the get go.
Recommendations:
- Print in PLA for easy breaking (PETG was too flexible).
- Print in a bright color so its easy to find if dropped from a ladder.
- A string can be used threw hole at the bottom to create a loop you can place around your wrist.
- The bottom piece was made wider, with textured sides for a better grip to prevent dropping (Noticing a pattern yet?)
