Attache it to the M2.5 screw used to attach the Filament Run-Out sensor. This is primarily used for a case where your spool is mounted above the printer on something like https://www.printables.com/model/922929-generic-spool-holder-6mm-attachment and the filament is hanging. When the filament goes in at the ~90º angle it can cause shredding of the filament because of the sharp turn when entering the sensor. by using this it will prevent the rubbing against the metal of the sensor.
